I'd like to tell you five core principles of TBT agreement.

First, Transparency which gives guarantee of clearness to member of WTO country.

they should notify things that they want to register or change and have an important impact on trade field.

Second, Non-discrimination means they should not make difference among WTO members and apply in the same way to both imports and similar domestic goods.

Third,Proportionality is similar character as the second one, but it's little bit different in terms of aspects that they deal with. they should not be more trade restrictive than necessary to achieve the legitimate goal pursued.

and Use of international standards means standars should be used as a basis for technical regulations whenever possible.

Equivalence means that WTO members should consider accepting technical regulations of other members as same way to their own, and provided that these measures are an effective way of addressing the objectives pursued.

and TBT aims prevent the creaion of unnecessary technical barriers and adoption of protectionist measures. also they encourage global harmoniation and enhance trasparency.
